I went to Millpond Dental for the first time today upon a recommendation from a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and caring they were, with no feelings of condemnation, but only encouragement and hope. The doctor outlined options for me to choose from based upon my age, budget and expectations. I look forward to the seeing end result. The extractions went well. Next step is the scans for a partial denture. You can't beat their prices either. They really work with you!
I'm honestly so afraid of the dentist. I had some bad past experiences, but going here actually helped me get over that fear. They were super efficient but still took the time to really listen to my concerns, which I appreciated so much. I had an extraction and an implant, and the whole process went incredibly smoothly. They even asked me what kind of music I wanted to listen to when they noticed I was starting to get super anxious, and that helped so much.
So yeah, Dr. Harward is honestly the best—really kind, easy to talk to, and genuinely cares about his patients. When my implant didn’t look quite right, he immediately ordered a new one at no extra cost just to make sure it fit perfectly. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile is rare, and it made such a difference for me.
All of the staff were super friendly and kind. Dr. Harward was a gentleman. He not only gave me a plan for my dental treatments he agreed to see my visiting mother in law to see if he could help her with her dentures without a charge. Not too many professionals do that anymore. Thanks for your kindness.
The professional and administrative staff at this practice are top notch. For various reasons, I have several (6) crowns, and of course many visits to the dentist. 😁
Dr. Harward is proficient, as well as having impressive dental technology and amenities. He is on the younger side, which is desirable for my family and children to grow up with.
What really speaks for itself is the staff and culture of the office. Which is something that happens over time, not overnight.
Billing can be complicated/frustrating and I've had no issues or worries, even switching insurance in the middle of dental work.
My family and I just moved to Cary, and we're grateful to have found this office.
Love this dentist! It is so convenient to my house and I am always greeted with a smile. Just had a crown replaced and it was seamless, painless and easy. The lab they used got my permanent crown right on the first try and I didn't have to sit for an hour while they adjusted it. So happy with my experience!
I’ve had many dentists in my life and I have to say Millpond Dental and Dr Harward are by far the best! They do it all from extractions to crowns , dentures and deep cleaning you name it , they got it covered! Their prices can’t be beat and the staff is sooo friendly and professional. First visit for a cleaning was very pleasant. I also had a crown come off prior to my visit and Dr. Harward was able to inspect to make sure there was no damage and was able reinstall with ease. Dr. Harward is very talented, patient and kept me informed throughout the entire process of replacing an old broken bridge with a complete new full smile of implants. I had a teeth cleaning and an extraction done. Dr. Harward and his assistant were very gentle, kind, and made the treatment very easy and painfree. They have all of the latest technology as well which makes it very easy to discuss problem areas and future treatments. Loved the entire staff and will continue using them for all future dental needs.
I have had a few dentist in my day and am a tooth grinder. 63 years old and have had a lot of work done! With past dentices, I always complained about my bite after a tooth repair or replacement. I felt that the plastic molds and possibly me, not staying still was the problem. Recently I switched dentist and experience a whole new great experience. Dr Harward uses a scanner for tooth fabrication and I can tell you it fit perfectly the frist time. No adjustments necessary. I had him replace another old crown and found out that the crown was grinded down to thin by my last dentist who should have sent it back, it wasn't right. I had one other tooth done by Dr Harward which needed a small adjustment but when I left I didn't have to come back. His practice is the best that I have experienced!!! I wish his front office manager Laverne wasn't retiring. Hope she selects some good replacement training them well. Thank you Dr Harward your the best I know.
Everyone from the time you open the front door was very friendly. Doctor & asst. very calm & reassuring when I was feeling some anxiety. Having a tooth pulled was virtually painless. Recommend
